There has been some fun in Cedar Rapids even though flood cleanup continues. Praise God for all the people receiving help through Samaritan's Purse, American Red Cross, FEMA and others.
Colin loved the inflatable slide and playground at the Kolach Festival. He really loved the fireworks. Thanks to one of my alma madder's Kirkwood Community College, Cedar Rapids enjoyed an outstanding fireworks display set to patriotic music on the radio. It was like other years in CR but in a different location. We found perfect front row seats at the top of the hill.
